Our Story

Lyndsay has been baking nearly her entire life, and prior to going gluten-free made many of our products for friends, family, colleagues, and others. When we met, it was one of many things she impressed me with. 

After finding out we could no longer eat food that had gluten, we soon found that many gluten-free options were either: dry, gritty, crumbly, and far different from the baked goods we had grown up loving; were exorbitantly expensive; or ran the risk of being cross-contaminated because the restaurant/bakery/etc. did not have a dedicated gluten-free cooking/baking area.

So we began to educate ourselves on what products contained gluten and what didn’t, we tried out prepackaged certified gluten free options from various brands, we tried local brick and mortar gluten free bakeries…but something was always missing.

For nearly a year, she learned all she could about gluten-free products and how they tasted compared to their gluten containing counterparts. She tested recipes to find which gluten-free flours gave the best results (specifically which tasted the best and reproduced the texture of the gluten-containing version of a dish), perfecting them so they would “taste just like the ‘real’ thing”.

The result? Delectable gluten-free baked goods so delicious, everyone will enjoy them – and no one will believe they’re gluten-free!
